Brian Piotrowski founded Legacy Search Advisors after 16 years as one of the top individual producers in the country for one of the world’s largest recruiting firms. During Brian’s time with the firm, he quickly became the team leader and ultimately became Practice Director for the top producing direct-hire recruiting team in the organization. Brian graduated with a BS in Computer Accounting and an MS in Business Technology Management from Stevenson University in Maryland. He interned and was hired by the Top-10 CPA Firm, RSM. Brian was then recruited to join a growing company as their Assistant Controller and had a tremendous placement experience with the recruiting firm who created this career connection. As Brian progressed in his accounting career, he could not ignore his passion for recruiting and pursued an opportunity with the firm who placed him in his final accounting role. You will find Brian at soccer, lacrosse and cheerleading venues around the region watching his children compete. In his spare time, Brian loves to run/workout, travel, check out great restaurants and spend as much time near a beach as possible.
Brian serves as both our CEO and Head of Recruiting. He works closely with clients and candidates to create successful career connections and he works hard to develop and build our fantastic team of Search Advisors.

CFO & Head of Accounting Outsource Services
Angie Piotrowski holds a BBA in Accounting from James Madison University (JMU) where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and joined the Big-4 accounting firm KPMG. In order to diversify her client experiences, Angie accepted the opportunity to join the growing regional accounting firm SC&H Group on their audit team. After several years of leading audit engagements for a variety of industries, Angie was recruited to join a rapidly growing insurance carrier as the Controller, where she built the expanding Accounting and Finance infrastructure, ultimately earning a promotion to Chief Accounting Officer. During this time, Angie developed expert level QuickBooks experience and produced clean, audited financial statements. Angie is a fitness enthusiast and world traveler and you will generally find her in a cheerleading gym or on a soccer or lacrosse field cheering on her children.
Angie has a dual role with Legacy Search Advisors, serving as CFO for our organization and she heads our expanding Accounting Outsource Services practice, currently serving as CFO/Controller for several outsource clients.

Lee Halbrich joins the team after running his own very successful Banking, Accounting, and Finance Recruiting practice. He got his start in the business working with our Founder at the largest global recruiting firm in the world. Lee brings a great perspective as a former Big-4 Senior Auditor from EY who has a fantastic network and an even better reputation. Lee is an alumni of Calvert Hall College High School in Maryland and an Accounting graduate from University of South Carolina. In his spare time, you can find Lee on a golf course, in the mountains, on the beach, at a concert or at a sporting event. Lee and his fiancé are working on wedding plans for their upcoming nuptials! Some of you will remember Lee's late father, Mitch Halbrich, who is a Legend in the Recruiting industry and an inspiration for the name Legacy. We are proud and excited to have Lee on board!

Bob Hart joins the team after running his own very successful Accounting & Finance Recruiting practice for 11 years. Bob brings a total of 25 years in the industry including 14 years as the Accounting & Finance Recruiting Practice Director at a top global firm. Bob graduated as a Finance Major at Towson University and is well networked in the business community. In his spare time, you can find Bob on the sports fields across the region watching his daughters play (also has one in college and one graduated). You may also catch Bob out crabbing and fishing somewhere in the mid-Atlantic with his wife and family. Bob was a tough competitor for years and we are privileged to bring his expertise and his great client and candidate relationships to our team!
